1:1 Nutrition Counseling

FAQs

  • Any and all dietary restrictions are welcome! My services are individualized to your specific preferences and needs. Any intolerance, allergy, or specific food preference will be discussed during our first session in order to personalize a plan just for you.

  • In our initial session, we will discuss your current exercise regimen and goals you have for movement. Each goal we set is individualized to where you currently are and what you want to get out of working with me. I encourage movement at a specific pace for each client. I will never recommend a ridiculous workout routine, and intense exercising will never be a necessity in working with me.

  • It is possible that in creating a healthier relationship with food and breaking away from the dieting mentality, you may lose weight. However, please note that this is not a weight loss program. If your goal is weight loss, then as your dietitian I will support you and provide realistic advice to help you achieve those goals. I am committed to your health and will never recommend a fad or quick fix diet. This is not a “lose 10 lbs in one week” kind of deal — and disclaimer: those don’t work for long-term weight management.

  • Focused nutrition packages are purchased 1:1 sessions that cover a certain timeline and topic. For each package, individuals will have double the week per session of the specific package — e.g., a 3 session package must be used in 6 weeks; an 8 session package must be used in 16 weeks. After that period, the remaining sessions expire without a refund. This is in place to ensure that past and future clients have the opportunity to purchase these packages as well.

    Please note: packages may be purchased now but all begin 1/3/22. Any package purchased before 1/3/22 will not begin the package period until that date.
